This article appeared in the "Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology (& History)", 26:3 (1955), 161-87, it represents a fine example of early Muggletonian study even though its interest was seventeenth century radicalism rather than specifically Muggletonianism. While the work is largely a commentary on the autobiographical "The Lost Sheep Found" it offers excellent insights and also references other contemporaneous sources, the ending is very moving where Morton observes in respect of Clarksons squalid death:
"I do not think that we should regard him as an object of pity: he died in the assurance of having found what he had sought so persistently through all the apparent contradictions and inconsistencies of his eventful life, the full and glorious light of the Everlasting Gospel"
